An unforgettable experience! The lion walk and dawn patrol at Outeniqua Farm was absolutely thrilling — being so close to these majestic animals in their natural, wild environment (not sedated or enclosed) was awe-inspiring. You can truly feel their power and presence. The safety briefing was excellent, and we felt well-prepared and confident throughout. Huge shoutout to our guide, who was knowledgeable, passionate, and made the experience even more special. A must-do for anyone looking for a real, respectful wildlife encounter!

What a wonderful experience we had getting up close to the lions at Outeniqua Game Farm. We will never forget this experience and we felt very safe and relaxed with Jurg, Gill and Edwins guidance and expertise. It was clear that Jurg has a great passion for conservation and was able to share many interesting facts about lions with us. This Lion Experience is one NOT to be missed! We also enjoyed a delicous meal in their restaurant, Bow and Arrow with its lovely relaxed relaxed atmosphere. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Wishing you every good luck as your business goes forward.

Having recently walked with the 5 beautiful lions , it was without doubt one of my life's most memorable experiences. Cannot wait to see what magnificent males they have become when we return in 8 months time!

We did the Lion Walk with Outeniqua Game Farm and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing. This is not just a walk with them but such an informative session learning and understanding lions and our current situation in SA about them. This experience is highly recommended. The guides go out of there way to make this an unforgettable experience and even took some photo for us.

We had an absolutely amazing walk with the lion cubs and the guides! We were able to be up close with the lions, and the experience was incredibly informative. After a short time, we felt completely safe thanks to the professional guidance. Feeding the lions was a unique and unforgettable experience, and to top it all off, we enjoyed a fantastic meal at the lodge afterward. A truly incredible experience – highly recommended!

We had such a fabulous time with the lions and hearing so much valuable knowledge from Jurg! We also had excellent Edwin and Tyler who took such good care of us and we both felt extremely safe and calm around the cubs! I especially loved how Jurg let the lions run the course and did not force them to do anything. They looked so well looked after and all the guides had such a kind and soft manner towards the lions, it was so special to see. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience , and one that we will no doubt remember forever! Warmest

I did have an experience with the lions there that was really amazing! I come from Holland and I am blown away!! The whole staff was so caring for their animals , the love , well all the information I got was that good, that I was a different person when I got to my hotel again! Go there if you are in the neighboorhood!! If you care about lions, that is the place to be!!

We spent half our day at the farm and what an awesome experience it was. The day started with a walk with the lion cubs. Jurg, Gill and Edwin were excellent guides. The encounter was not forced, the way it should be, and if the lions wanted to come to us they did. We felt safe at all times and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We then had some lunch at Bow & Arrow overlooking the farm. The food was excellent and our waitress (Blommie) was friendly and attentive. Next was the archery with Johan of St. Blaize Archery. This is something we’ve wanted to do for years and it was awesome. So much so that we’ve found a new hobby and will be purchasing our own compound bows soon.
